Real Life Options was first established in 1992 to support and empower people with learning disabilities and autism to have more choice and greater control over their lives. Over the last three decades, we have grown to become a national provider of social support and care. We support people across the UK to develop their independence and achieve their potential, by truly understanding and championing the changing needs and aspirations of the people we support.
We have significant experience supporting young people and adults with learning disabilities, complex health needs, autism, mental health issues, significant physical disabilities, complex behaviours that challenge, cerebral palsy, older people and acquired brain injury, to live independently within their own home, a supported living environment, care home and to access the community through a range of outreach activities.
Support & Enablement is at the heart of our operational model of delivery for our care and support services. Where appropriate, this can include RLO supporting individuals towards further education, training and employment opportunities. We are therefore acutely aware of the Disability Employment Gap in Scotland and felt that we could bring some of our experience to the table of Apt.
