SUSE

Who we are

The Scottish Union of Supported Employment (SUSE) is the national representative body for disability employment providers and works to improve the life chances of disabled people in Scotland by moving disabled jobseekers into paid, sustained employment.

SUSE has 40 member organisations who employ c450 employability practitioners, delivering services to 6000 disabled jobseekers annually and working with 5000 employers. We are a democratic organisation that is led by our members who play a pivotal role in setting our priorities and strategy.

Why we’re an Apt partner

SUSE is committed to bringing organisations together to improve the prospects of disabled people who want to enter employment and support employers who want to create fair and equitable workplaces. Apt is an opportunity to change the conversation and build the capacity of employers to attract, recruit and support talented disabled people who can contribute to their business. We support the ambition to halve the Disability Employment Gap by 2038 and recognise that the PSP can have a pivotal role in making progress towards this target.
