Our trainers Gary Macdonald and Diarmid Macmillan have many years experience working in mental health first aid and suicide prevention training and well-being services with voluntary, public and private sector organisation. They are also both mental health community advocates with See Me , Scotland’s national program to end mental health stigma and discrimination. Gary and Diarmid are founders of  mental health and suicide prevention peer support groups MindtheMen & the Argyll Wellbeing Hub.

Their passionate approach to mental health and suicide prevention awareness has helped many people to thrive and support others.
