Who we are
Moving On Employment Project is a small independent charity based in Shetland that supports individuals to build on their confidence, skills and knowledge to achieve their employment-related goals, by providing a confidential, person-centred approach.
Who we support
Moving On support any young people, predominately aged 14 to 26 who have barriers to employment. This includes young people with a disability, those who are care experienced and others who may have additional support needs.
Why we’re an Apt partner
Moving On is based in Shetland and has previously been quite isolated from the support and guidance other organisations in Scotland can provide us and the positive impact that can have for the young people we support. Apt has been a unique opportunity for us to engage with those organisations.
